Thats the impression I get. And in case its escaped anyone's attention, to buy and maintain a POS and fly and lose multiple battleships at 2 weeks old requires a lot of ISK. JUST HOW MUCH DID THIS GUY SPEND BUYING TIMECODES? Seriously, its impossible to respect someone who instead of playing the game, blows at least several hundred dollars on game money. I don't see how you can post threads like this and NOT expect to be lambasted by people who actually have to WORK for their ISK and can't afford to spend hundreds of dollars to buy GTCs to sell.

Different strokes for different folks. It's fun for you, but might be different for me. Something that is supposed to be part of the fun, is not always fun for everyone. You assume too much. You miss my point. Its not about how you enjoy the game, I could understand if you couldn't care less about earning money, personally I find it satisfying. What I find ridiculous is that an adult took several hundred dollars and spent it in such a frivolous fashion and then actually comes on the forums and cheerfully tells us how he lost managed to lose 1.7 billion of what he got in exchange in a way that was completely avoidable.

Every screw up was completely avoidable ... in hindsight. You must be joking. It doesn't take hindsight to tell someone that at 2 weeks old flying solo BS is a bad idea. And anyone with a pulse is able to read those terms and conditions in the EVE mails you get when you insure a ship. If he'd bothered to read them he would have known that transferring a ship between characters voids the insurance contract.
